It's been been quiet in the hilbarn new vintage shop over winter, but the bulbs are coming up now, the fronds are unfurling, and the covers are coming off. Give us a call or drop us an email if you'd like to visit sometime.
What do you really need? That's what new vintage is all about. Making do, re-thinking, resisting the impulse to buy something totally new and putting your own stamp on what exists already. We thought these messages written on leaves and left as offerings were just that (spotted on an outing to Rocky Hills Retreat on the East Coast, south of Swansea). Who needs paper when a dried gum leaf will do?
